All kitchenware pieces are glazed with lead free, food safe glazes, and are microwave and dishwasher safe! However, hand-washing is recommend for more fragile pieces, like tea sets with tiny delicate handles, or pieces with raw clay surfaces, as dishwasher detergents

are rather harsh, and can lead to discoloration over time..
